2D Renders & Concepts

This was a bowl of Fruit that I modeled in 3DS Max in my first year of college.

This is Kaldunn The Destroyer, he was a sci fi creature I created for my first year in my game development program. He was a bit of a mesh of some pretty cool characters giving him a serpentine Godzilla like feel as he invaded a futuristic metropolis.

This is my Dark Elf Brute Kaelthargas. He was the first character I drew on Photoshop that I was proud of.
The background is admittedly flat but it was a fun start to test my abilities with character details. The poor flag bearer never saw this Brute coming.
This is what happens after years of playing games like Diablo, you give me a church and I turn it into a devil's playground. For my Mattie painting assignment I took this church and made it look really run down while adding some cool fog effects.

This was the first UDK level I ever made. I went for an oriental theme. I still had no idea how to use the terrain editor, but I added nice lighting and pathways. there was also a floating sword in the center.

This was my second UDK level going for a more of an urban feel. Still no terrain editor. However I added sound, and animations in Kismet. It was a lot of fun to watch people play test since the animations were switch based.

This was my dock that shows off the metropolis in the distance, the water was set up to be swam in with vision blur and color perception changing when submerged.

This is the second floor of the temple with a portal going back downstairs.... or just jump off the balcony into the moat.

This level was my pride and joy of my 2nd year, I spent countless hours with the terrain editor which I finally learned to use and love. I used it to sink in the terrain and make my moat around the temple. The island has a nice view of the metropolis in the distance. There was even a hidden portal to the metropolis.
